I would compare it for a large room that needs a lot of cooling: it offers about 6,050 frigories. I wouldn't buy it just because it's the most powerful. If your living room doesn't overheat that much, also consider the TCL S18F5S3 with approximately 4,420 frigories..
Will this work for sure if I live in a penthouse?
Not only for choosing the large one. A small attic with good insulation and an open, very sunny one without insulation require different things. Before purchasing it, tell us the square meters and what the ceiling is like; this way we can avoid you getting one that is too large or that still falls short.
Does it work for multiple rooms if I leave the doors open?
We do not recommend it as a substitute for a 2x1 or a 3x1. It will primarily cool the area where it is installed; having more power does not ensure that the air reaches separate bedrooms equally.
