Cause: Copper/aluminum sheets corrode over time and eventually become perforated.
Dry the area well, apply pressure to the circuit, and confirm that the dripping is coming from the metal body and not from a nearby fitting.

Cause: It is the limescale embedded inside generating hot spots and microbubbles of steam.
