Symptoms and faults that the filling valve 122621006 resolves.
The filling valve allows water to refill the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler warns of low pressure or locks out, and when refilling, the pressure rises well but drops again in a few days.
Cause: The filling valve is not completely sealed and is slowly and constantly leaking water.
Close the valve, check the pressure, and see if it drops even if there are no radiators or bleed valves open in the house.
- 02
There is a ring of lime or dry drops around the faucet, although it is not dripping right now.
Cause: There has been an intermittent leak from the gasket or the cartridge that is more noticeable when heating the system.
Place kitchen paper under the tap for a whole day with the boiler operating normally and check if any moisture appears.
- 03
The key turns with difficulty or seems not to close completely until the end.
Cause: The internal mechanism gets stuck due to accumulated scale after a long period of disuse.
Before changing it, open and close it several times slowly to see if it releases the hard spot.
- 04
After filling, the needle of the pressure gauge continues to move on its own instead of staying fixed.
Cause: The valve allows a fine stream of water to pass even when it is in the closed position.
Mark the pressure with a marker on the glass of the manometer after closing it and check if it moves without having used heating.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
