Cause: The filling valve does not close completely and allows water to pass through at low pressure continuously.
With the boiler cold, dry the body of the valve well and check a few hours later if humidity has reappeared.

Water droplets appear on the body of the valve even when it's not being refilled.
Cause: The internal sealing gasket is worn out and the valve leaks even when the lever is closed.
Press the lever all the way down until you feel the stop and check if the dripping stops.

The lever is hard to turn, feels stiff, or jerks abruptly when opening.
Cause: Lime scale buildup in the internal mechanism, common in valves that haven't been moved for a while.
With the boiler cold, move the lever several times from open to closed to see if it releases.

After refilling, the pressure gauge needle keeps rising on its own.
Cause: The valve has been left partially open and continues to allow mains water to pass into the circuit.
Ensure that the lever remains firmly in the closed position, without stopping halfway.
