  The boiler gradually loses pressure and the circuit needs to be refilled every few days.

  Cause: The filling valve does not close completely and allows water to continuously flow into the heating circuit.

  Close the valve completely and mark the pressure level; if it continues to rise with the valve closed, it is not sealing properly.

  There is a drop of water or a ring of limescale on the floor, right below the boiler, at the level of the valve.

  Cause: The gasket or the internal cartridge of the filling valve is damaged and leaking from the body.

  Dry the area well, wait a while, and see if the drop reappears right at the valve before assuming that it is the source.

  It is difficult to turn the key to fill it, or it is not clear when it is completely closed.

  Cause: The brass cartridge gets stuck due to limescale or lack of use and loses its opening and closing stroke.

  Turn carefully several times; if you notice a hard spot or it doesn't reach the stop, the cartridge is stuck.

  After filling the circuit, the pressure does not remain stable and varies on its own.

  Cause: The tap allows a trickle of water to pass through intermittently even though it seems to be closed.

  Close the valve, note the exact pressure on the manometer, and compare it 24 hours later without touching anything else.
