  Cause: The flow switch does not detect the rotation of the paddle wheel and does not send the start signal in DHW mode to the control board.

  Check the mains pressure and make sure that the cold water inlet filter is not clogged with limescale before considering the part faulty.

  The water comes out hot for a moment and then cools down, as if the burner turns off by itself.

  Cause: The paddle wheel rotates with friction due to lime or dirt and sends an intermittent signal to the circuit.

  Remove the flow switch and manually check that the wheel turns smoothly and without rubbing before replacing it.

  The domestic hot water is not heating even though the boiler is working well for heating.

  Cause: It is an isolated fault in the domestic hot water circuit because this flow switch only monitors that flow, not the heating one.
