The boiler does not ignite the burner to provide hot water or heating, even if you open the tap fully.
Cause: The flow detector does not inform the control unit that there is circulation, and it cuts off the ignition for safety.
Check the circuit pressure and ensure there is no blocked inlet filter before replacing the part.

The domestic hot water service is intermittent, it cuts off and comes back several times.
Cause: A loose retaining clip or a worn internal contact causes the detector to send an intermittent signal.
Make sure that the metal clip holds the part securely in its housing before declaring it defective.

The boiler locks out with a warning related to lack of water, even though the system is full.
Cause: The detector may remain in the 'no flow' position even though the water circulates normally.
Bleed the circuit and check that the pump is working before replacing the sensor.
