The boiler does not ignite or takes several attempts before starting.
Cause: The premix burner distributes the air and gas mixture across the entire surface of the head; if it is degraded or the mesh is damaged, ignition fails or is incomplete.
Check the ignition electrode and the condition of the air box before declaring the part faulty.

The flame appears irregular, with yellow or orange spots instead of a uniform blue.
Cause: A burner mesh obstructed by scale or corroded disrupts the homogeneous combustion characteristic of premix burners.
Also check the inlet gas pressure and the condition of the heat exchanger, because a yellow flame is not always from the burner.

Corrosion, discoloration, or deterioration is visible on the surface of the ceramic head.
Cause: The head operates at high temperature continuously, and over the years the ceramic material fatigues or cracks.
Take a well-lit photo of the complete head to confirm that the wear is real and not just superficial soot.

The boiler modulates poorly: it jumps from minimum to maximum power suddenly or makes noise when varying the flame.
Cause: A worn premix burner does not distribute the mixture evenly when reducing power, and combustion becomes unstable.
Before replacing it, check that the fan is modulating correctly and that there are no air leaks in the combustion chamber.
