  Cause: The injectors in those sections are clogged with dirt or rust and do not allow the gas to flow evenly.

  Clean each injector with compressed air and check if the flame is uniform in all tubes before replacing the entire rail.

  There is a smell of gas near the burner, even though the boiler is working.

  Cause: The corrosion of the bare metal of the ramp eventually creates a leak point where gas escapes.

  With the boiler running, apply soapy water all over the ramp and look for bubbles to locate the exact point before replacing it.

  The boiler takes a long time to ignite or you hear a small knock when starting.

  Cause: Worn or partially clogged injectors delay the gas flow, causing it to accumulate before ignition.

  Also check the inlet gas pressure and the ignition electrode, as they can cause the same symptom without the ramp being faulty.

  Gas consumption is increasing, but the boiler is heating less than normal.

  Cause: An injector with an eroded nozzle allows more gas to pass than necessary and disrupts the air-gas mixture in that tube.

  Check that the injector index corresponds to the type of gas installed (natural or propane); a gas change without adapting them can cause the same effect.
