Honeywell Gas Valve V7335A 4011 1 - Cointra E-20 I / M-20 I - Ref. 9402136
Gas valve with Honeywell actuator V7335A 4011 1, fits Cointra E-20/M-20 boiler. It regulates the gas flow to the burner and modulates the pressure between 1 and 37 mbar according to the boiler's demand. It is replaced when the boiler does not ignite, gets locked during startup, or the flame does not modulate correctly.

How to check if the ref. 9402136 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9402136. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the gas valve 9402136 resolves.
The gas valve regulates and modulates the gas flow to the burner. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite and the fan or the pump are working but there is no flame.
Cause: The valve actuator does not open even though the rest of the ignition sequence works correctly.
Measure if the actuator receives current at the moment of ignition (multimeter on the connector) before replacing it.
- 02
The boiler locks up just when starting and needs to be reset manually.
Cause: A fault in the actuator opening prevents gas from reaching on time, and the control board shuts down for safety.
Check if the blockage occurs consistently or only sometimes; if it is intermittent, inspect the wiring of the actuator before considering the valve faulty.
- 03
The flame does not adjust properly between minimum and maximum power, it fluctuates.
Cause: The modulating actuator does not smoothly regulate the gas pressure within the working range of the gas valve.
Check that the incoming gas filter is not dirty, as this can also cause pressure fluctuations, before replacing the gas valve.
- 04
The panel shows a repeated gas valve fault warning.
Cause: The control unit detects that the actuator is not responding as expected and indicates it as a fault code.
Note the exact code and consult the manual; some models use the same code for the actuator and the flame sensor.
Fault codes for Cointra that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| A01 | The burner does not ignite. | If the gas valve is faulty or not powered, it does not allow gas to pass to the burner and there is no ionisation. Check voltage to the modulator/coils and ensure there is pressure downstream of the valve. |
| A09 | Gas valve anomaly. | Electrical or mechanical fault of the valve (coil/modulator open, stuck). Check coil continuity and opening sequence from the PCB; replace if it does not operate. |
| A16 | Gas valve anomaly. | Recurrent issue with the valve (wiring/modulation or damaged valve). Check the modulator wiring and operation; if it does not respond, replace the valve. |
| F50 | Gas valve anomaly (modulation actuator). | Interruption/fault in the modulator wiring or damaged modulating coil; the valve does not modulate. Measure continuity/resistance of the modulator and check for signal presence from the PCB. |
| A62 | There is no communication between the control board and the gas valve. | Break/defect in the valve harness or valve not responding to the control board. Check connectors and continuity; if the bus/command arrives and the valve does not respond, replace it. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
