Stock · 1 unit

The Biasi/Savio Idea M270V boilers use the Biasi Idea M270V PCB Ref. BI2605101. This control board regulates the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. If it malfunctions, the boiler may fail to start, lock out, or operate erratically, potentially displaying the fault code E03: EEPROM Error. It is compatible with models such as the Idea M270V and the Actadens 25S and 30S, among others. It is recommended to replace it when these operational issues are detected.

Guide

How to check if ref. BI2605101 is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference BI2605101. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the PCB BI2605101 resolves.

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler does not turn on and there are no lights visible, neither on the display nor on the indicators.

Cause: If the control board is not working, the boiler cannot start its sequence, even if it has gas and power.

Check the differential and the fuse of the installation before assuming that the PCB is damaged.

  • 02

The boiler's pilot light or LED is flashing in a pattern that doesn't match any code in the manual.

Cause: A fault in the internal electronics can cause erratic flickering that does not match the usual fault codes.

Count and note the exact blinking rhythm, number of flashes and pauses, before deciding if it's the PCB.

  • 03

The boiler works when forced in manual or emergency mode, but not in automatic mode.

Cause: The automatic mode depends on the PCB processing the signals from the sensors and the thermostat correctly; in manual mode, those controls are bypassed.

Test the manual mode if the boiler has it: if it works well, the problem is likely in the electronic management and not in a power component.

  • 04

The boiler stops intermittently without triggering any fault code.

Cause: A specific fault in the control board can interrupt the supply without registering a fault code, especially if it is a microcut.

Check if the cut coincides with vibrations, knocks on the boiler, or sudden temperature changes; it could be a loose solder joint.

CodeFaultDiagnosis and solution
E03EEPROM errorThe integrated EEPROM on the main PCB (BI2605101, M270V family) is damaged or has corrupted data, causing the boiler to detect a memory fault upon startup and display E03. Check power supply and grounding, attempt reset/parameterization; if E03 persists, the verification concludes with replacing the PCB.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
