Cointra E 20 I PCB
Cointra E-20 I boilers use the Cointra E 20 I PCB, which is responsible for controlling the ignition, burner modulation, pump, and safety features of the boiler. When faults occur, the boiler may fail to start, become locked, or operate erratically. This board is compatible with models from the E-20 range, among others. A technician must confirm through diagnosis whether it needs to be replaced when you experience these symptoms to restore the proper functioning of your boiler.

How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms that require diagnosis on the PCB
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler is completely dead: no lights, no display, no fan.
Cause: When the PCB stops receiving or distributing power, no component of the boiler responds.
Before purchasing, check the main fuse and ensure that power is reaching the input of the PCB.
- 02
The remote control or the panel do not respond even if they have batteries or are properly connected.
Cause: The communication module integrated into the PCB translates the commands from the remote control to the boiler.
Try resetting the control and check that the communication cable or antenna is properly connected before replacing the PCB.
- 03
The boiler turns on by itself, turns off by itself, or cycles without anyone touching anything.
Cause: A fault in the relays or the microprocessor of the PCB can generate erratic on and off commands.
Note at what moment it occurs (with heating demand, with hot water demand, or without any) to determine if it is the PCB or another element.
- 04
The differential or the circuit breaker trips every time the boiler is turned on.
Cause: A short circuit in the PCB can cause current to be diverted to ground and trip the electrical protection.
Disconnect the PCB and supply power only to the rest of the installation to confirm that the problem is with the PCB and not at another point.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
