• 01

  The boiler tries to ignite the burner but fails to light.

  Cause: The module does not generate the high voltage spark when the gas is opened.

  Check that the ignition electrode is clean and properly positioned at the correct distance before replacing the module.

• 02

  There is no spark visible at the burner, although there is a smell of gas.

  Cause: The module produces the electric arc; without a spark, the gas comes out but does not ignite.

  Cut off the gas immediately if there is a smell without ignition, and check the high voltage cable of the electrode for any damage or looseness.

• 03

  The boiler ignites for a moment and then turns off immediately, as if it shuts down by itself.

  Cause: The module can generate the spark but fails to maintain the ignition, so the flame does not stabilize.

  Pay attention to the color of the flame at that moment if it is visible: an irregular flame indicates a problem with the gas rather than the module.

• 04

  The display shows a lock or warning related to the ignition.

  Cause: The control board detects that there was no proper ignition within the safety time and translates it into that warning.

  Reset the boiler once and observe if the fault occurs again at the same point in the ignition sequence.
