Fault codes related to this part (not the entire boiler). They usually have more possible causes: first rule out electrodes, wiring/connections, and gas supply. Verified with ≥3 sources.

CodeWhat does it mean?Cause and diagnosis (this part)
AL 06Flame not detected. The PCB does not 'see' the ionisation signal due to a fault in the detection circuit on the PCB (track/op-amp/ground) or erratic reading. Verify by measuring ionisation microamps and tracing from electrode to the PCB input; if the signal is correct and AL06 persists, replace/repair the PCB.
AL 08Flame detection circuit fault (parasitic flame).Fault in the detection circuit of the PCB causes a reading of flame present when it should not be. Confirm by isolating electrode/wiring and, if it persists with correct line and ground, the fault is with the PCB (ionization stage); repair or replace.
AL 77Maximum/minimum absolute limits error of current EV2 SGV.The control/reading stage of the gas valve on the PCB detects current out of range; it could be the driver/measurement on the board. Check the coil and consumption of the valve; if correct, the cause is the board (driver or reading) and it must be replaced.
AL 78Upper current limit error EV2 SGV.Overreading/excessive command of the valve driver from the PCB. Check the actual consumption of EV2 and wiring; if it is normal and AL78 persists, the fault is in the control/measurement channel on the board.
AL 79EV2 SGV lower current limit error. The PCB does not detect the expected minimum current in the valve (defective driver/reading). Measure current EV2; if it is within range and the error persists, the PCB is faulty.
AL 80Fault in the control line logic of the valve (or damaged valve cable). In addition to wiring, Sime documents that the PCB can be the cause (logic stage/driver). Check continuity from the harness to the gas valve; if OK, the fault is in the PCB and requires replacement.
AL 88Internal error (protection of a component on the PCB).Internal fault detected by the PCB itself (hardware protection). Verification: reset and basic checks; if it reappears, the action prescribed by Sime is to replace the PCB.
AL 95Fault due to micro interruptions in the flame signal.Brief interferences/drops that the ionisation stage of the PCB interprets as flame losses; if the electrode, ground, and power supply are correct, the cause is the PCB itself. Check with a microammeter and network stability; replace the PCB if it persists.
AL 98Software error, PCB start-up.Fault in the boot/software of the PCB. It is not an installation problem; the manufacturer's indication is management by SAT and replacement of the PCB if it does not start after reset/configuration.
AL 99Generic PCB fault. The PCB self-diagnosis detects a non-specific anomaly. Confirm power supply/cables; if there are no external causes, replace the PCB.
How do I know if this PCB is for my boiler?
Verify the reference 6301485 printed and ensure your model is on the list of compatible ones; also compare the connections with the original part. It is a SIT part.
What is it used for?
The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, sensor readings, and safety features of the boiler.
Is the boiler not igniting, locking out, or is the control board unresponsive?
After ruling out mains voltage, fuse, and connectors, a damaged PCB causes lockouts, blackouts, or erratic display. Repair the external cause before installing the new one.
Which models is it suitable for?
Part shared by various models (see Compatibility). If your model does not appear, send us a photo of the marking and we will confirm it.
Installation and recommendations
After installation, a technician must adjust the service parameters (type of gas, power settings) and check combustion and safety features.
What does refurbished mean and what coverage does it have?
Part removed from a boiler out of service, inspected and tested. Includes 1-year warranty and 14-day return policy. Delivery within 2–4 working days in the EU.
