Check the coil and consumption of the valve; if correct, the cause is the board (driver or reading) and it must be replaced. |
| AL 78 | Upper current limit error EV2 SGV. | Overreading/excessive command of the valve driver from the PCB. Check the actual consumption of EV2 and wiring; if it is normal and AL78 persists, the fault is in the control/measurement channel on the board. |
| AL 79 | EV2 SGV lower current limit error. | The PCB does not detect the expected minimum current in the valve (defective driver/reading). Measure current EV2; if it is within range and the error persists, the PCB is faulty. |
| AL 80 | Fault in the control line logic of the valve (or damaged valve cable). | In addition to wiring, Sime documents that the PCB can be the cause (logic stage/driver). Check continuity from the harness to the gas valve; if OK, the fault is in the PCB and requires replacement. |
| AL 88 | Internal error (protection of a component on the PCB). | Internal fault detected by the PCB itself (hardware protection). Verification: reset and basic checks; if it reappears, the action prescribed by Sime is to replace the PCB. |
| AL 95 | Fault due to micro interruptions in the flame signal. | Brief interferences/drops that the ionisation stage of the PCB interprets as flame losses; if the electrode, ground, and power supply are correct, the cause is the PCB itself. Check with a microammeter and network stability; replace the PCB if it persists. |
| AL 98 | Software error, PCB start-up. | Fault in the boot/software of the PCB. It is not an installation problem; the manufacturer's indication is management by SAT and replacement of the PCB if it does not start after reset/configuration. |
| AL 99 | Generic PCB fault. | The PCB self-diagnosis detects a non-specific anomaly. Confirm power supply/cables; if there are no external causes, replace the PCB. |
