Pressure gauge Manaut GLM4 16

Pressure gauge Manaut GLM4 16

Stock · 1 unit

The Manaut GLM4 16 manometer is a device that measures and controls the pressure or temperature of the boiler circuit. If it malfunctions, you will notice incorrect readings, which can cause the boiler to lock out due to a false low pressure or not regulate the temperature properly. This manometer is compatible with boilers from the Manaut brand, such as the GLM4 16 model, among others. It is recommended to replace it when it starts to show erroneous readings or does not function correctly.

Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the manometer resolves

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The pressure gauge is not showing anything; it seems to be malfunctioning.

Cause: The internal mechanism of the pressure gauge has broken and is not sending a signal.

Check for any visible bends or breaks in the capillary before considering the part to be damaged.

  • 02

The needle stays fixed at a number even though the boiler changes.

Cause: The internal mechanism has become blocked and does not detect the changes.

Turn the boiler on and off several times and observe if the needle moves; if it doesn't move, confirm the fault.

  • 03

Water is leaking from the connection of the pressure gauge fitting.

Cause: The gasket of the fitting has deteriorated due to heat and cold.

Tighten the fitting with a wrench and dry the area well; if there is moisture again soon, the leak is from the fitting or the part.

  • 04

The pressure is reading correctly, but the temperature is not changing.

Cause: The temperature bulb is independent and can fail without affecting the pressure.

Check that the temperature bulb is properly positioned in its sleeve before replacing the entire pressure gauge.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
