  Cause: The bulb or the temperature sensor has lost contact with the pipe, or the corresponding capillary is damaged.

  Check that the bulb is properly inserted and secured in its housing before replacing the entire thermometer-manometer.

  The glass or the dial is broken, scratched, or fogged, and the pressure and temperature cannot be read clearly.

  Cause: A blow or moisture entering the case can damage the dial or the glass, even if the internal mechanism continues to function.

  Confirm that the damage is only cosmetic, on the glass or dial, and does not affect the two capillaries before deciding if the entire part needs to be replaced.
