The water comes out very hot or the boiler shuts down due to overheating.
Cause: The limit aquastat does not cut off when it should and allows the temperature to continue rising.
Check that the bulb sleeve is not blocked by scale, as this delays the actual water reading.

The boiler does not start at all, as if it is not receiving a command.
Cause: The aquastat contact has remained permanently open and interrupts the ignition command.
Measure the continuity of the aquastat in cold with the multimeter; if it shows an open circuit, confirm the fault.
