Sime Thermomanometer Pressure Gauge Metropolis H25BF Ref. 6217006
The Sime manometer of the Metropolis H25BF model measures and controls the pressure of the boiler circuit. If it fails, you will notice incorrect readings, which can cause the boiler to lock out due to a false low pressure or not regulate the temperature properly. This manometer is compatible with several boilers, including the Metropolis 25 BF, Metropolis 30 BF, Format ZIP 25 BF, Format ZIP 30 BF, Format Dewy ZIP 25 BF, and Format Dewy ZIP 30 BF models, among others. It should be replaced when it shows erroneous readings or fails to regulate properly.

How to check if the part number 6217006 is the one for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 6217006. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the manometer 6217006 resolves.
The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Only one of the two gauges works: either the temperature gauge or the pressure gauge, not both.
Cause: The thermomanometer has two independent mechanisms in the same housing and they can fail separately.
Check which of the two readings is failing exactly before making a purchase; help confirm that the problem is real and not related to installation.
- 02
The pressure gauge does not reach the blue zone even though the boiler is filled.
Cause: The pressure mechanism gets stuck or loses accuracy and stops reflecting the normal operating range of the circuit.
Re-pressurize with the filling key to the usual value of your boiler and check if the needle moves, even if it doesn't enter the blue zone.
- 03
Neither of the two needles moves, as if the instrument were dead.
Cause: The water inlet to the mechanism is blocked, usually by limescale, and neither of the two scales is receiving the signal from the circuit.
Check that the boiler has real water and pressure through another method (bleed valve, display) before replacing the complete part.
- 04
The glass is fogged up and neither the blue band nor either of the two needles can be seen.
Cause: The box has lost its tightness and moisture is entering, which is more noticeable in a thermomanometer due to its double mechanism.
Check if the fogging occurs only when the boiler is hot; if so, confirm moisture entry through the glass seal.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
