Temperature Indicator Renova Micra 23 SE

Temperature Indicator Renova Micra 23 SE

Stock · 6 units

If you notice incorrect temperature readings or issues with the regulation of the boiler, you may need the Renova Micra 23 SE Temperature Indicator. This part measures and controls the temperature of your boiler's circuit, ensuring its proper operation. When it fails, the boiler may lock out due to a false pressure drop, causing inconveniences in its performance. It is compatible with models from the HABITAT range, such as the 2 E and the 23 SE, and from the MICRA range, such as the 23 SE and the 28 SE, among others. It is recommended to replace it when you start to notice these symptoms.

Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the manometer resolves

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The indicator does not show temperature, the needle does not move even though the boiler is hot.

Cause: The internal mechanism that moves the needle may be blocked or have lost its seal, preventing it from reflecting temperature changes.

Check that the indicator sensor is properly positioned in its housing and has not shifted before replacing the part.

  • 02

The dial is broken, scratched, or so dirty that the needle cannot be seen.

Cause: The protective glass of the gauge can crack due to impacts or prolonged vibrations from the boiler, without affecting the internal mechanism.

Check if the damage is only to the outer glass: if the needle moves normally when touching the boiler, the problem is aesthetic and you do not need to replace the entire indicator.

  • 03

You don't know if there is a risk of frost in the circuit because the indicator does not show low temperatures.

Cause: The red arc from 0-20 °C is designed to warn of that risk; if the needle does not move in that range even though the room is cold, the instrument is not functioning properly.

On a cold day, compare the reading of the gauge with the actual ambient temperature: if the needle does not move or enter the red zone, the fault is with the gauge, not the installation.

  • 04

The needle moves but gets stuck at a point and does not advance further.

Cause: The needle shaft may be rubbing against the dial or the glass, or the internal mechanism may have seized up over time.

Gently tap the glass while the boiler is running: if the needle releases and moves, it is a mechanical jam; if it does not react, the mechanism is blocked.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the pressure gauge

What scale does the temperature indicator of the Micra 23 SE mark?
From 0 to 120 °C, with a red arc painted in the 0-20 °C section.
Is this indicator suitable for the Habitat 23 SE?
Yes, the Habitat 23 SE is among the confirmed compatible models, along with Habitat 2 E, Micra 23 SE, and Micra 28 SE.
What does the red arc on the indicator dial of the Habitat 23 SE mean?
Mark the 0-20 °C range on the scale, probably the warning zone for freezing risk, although the manufacturer does not explicitly confirm it.
