The Cointra CTS 24 60 EI Pressure Gauge Ref. 9158115 is a gauge designed to measure the pressure of the boiler circuit. Its main function is to monitor the pressure, ensuring that it remains within the appropriate parameters. If it fails, you will notice incorrect readings, which can cause the boiler to lock out due to a false lack of pressure or not regulate the temperature properly. This gauge is compatible with models such as the CTS 24/60 and CTS 24/60 EI from the Cointra range, among others. It is recommended to replace it if you notice that it does not accurately reflect the system pressure.

Guide

How to check if the part number 9158115 is the one for your boiler.

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 9158115. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the pressure gauge 9158115 resolves.

The manometer shows the pressure of the boiler circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The boiler is working well, but the pressure gauge does not reflect the actual pressure: the needle does not move no matter what happens.

Cause: The internal mechanism of the manometer has jammed and no longer translates the circuit pressure into needle movement.

Bleed a radiator and check if the pressure gauge reacts; if the needle does not respond at any time, the fault is confirmed before buying anything.

  • 02

The needle goes off the printed scale, either below the minimum or stuck at the maximum, even after you have replenished water.

Cause: The internal bellows has lost its normal travel and no longer responds proportionally to the pressure.

Fill with the filling key and check if the needle is still out of range; if it doesn't move from the end, it's the part.

  • 03

Water is dripping from the base of the pressure gauge itself, not from any nearby radiator or valve.

Cause: The gasket or the body of the pressure gauge has lost its seal and is allowing water from the circuit to leak out.

Dry the area well and with the boiler running, locate the exact point of the leak: if it comes from the body and not from a nearby joint, you have found the cause.

  • 04

The pressure cannot be read because the dial is broken, cracked, or the numbers have disappeared.

Cause: The plastic or glass that protects the scale has cracked, usually due to a blow or the pressure from a previous leak.

Check the dial in direct light: if the break is only cosmetic and the needle moves normally, assess whether it is really urgent to replace it.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
