Water Pressure Sensor Baxi Neodens Plus 28 28F Ref. 125109100
The water pressure sensor Baxi Neodens Plus 28 28F is a component that measures the pressure of the hydraulic circuit and sends this information to the control board. When it fails, you may notice incorrect readings and lockouts due to a false lack of pressure, which can lead to fault code 118: pressure too low in the hydraulic circuit. This sensor is compatible with several models in the Baxi range, such as Neodens Plus 24/24 F, Neodens Plus ECO 28/28 F, among others. It is recommended to replace it if you observe pressure issues or errors in the operation of the boiler.

How to check if the ref. 125109100 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 125109100. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch 125109100 resolves.
The pressure sensor measures the water pressure for the electronics. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The hot water or heating does not start, and a low pressure warning appears on the screen, even though the pressure gauge shows it is fine.
Cause: The sensor does not correctly inform the PCB of the actual pressure in the circuit, and it blocks the start for safety reasons.
Check with the mechanical manometer of the boiler if the actual pressure matches the one displayed on the screen.
- 02
The heating stops by itself in the middle of a cycle, as if it suddenly loses pressure.
Cause: A flashing signal from the sensor causes the control unit to believe that the pressure is falling below the minimum, even though this is not the case.
Check if the cut coincides with vibrations or with the pump starting; it may indicate a loose connector in the sensor.
- 03
The pressure displayed by the boiler rises or falls abruptly and unrealistically, instead of gradually changing like water does.
Cause: The sensor loses accuracy over time and shows reading jumps instead of a continuous measurement.
Compare the digital reading with the manometer several times a day to see if the jump is real or if it is a fault of the sensor.
- 04
There is moisture or dripping in the area where the pressure sensor is installed.
Cause: The sealing of the sensor degrades over the years due to contact with the water in the circuit.
Dry the area and check after a while of operation if humidity reappears right at the sensor and not at a neighboring fitting.
Fault codes Baxi that this part resolves
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| 118 | Pressure too low in the hydraulic circuit. | The water pressure sensor (ref. 125109100) may give a reading lower than the actual one due to drift/electrical fault, causing a lockout with 118 even though the pressure gauge shows 1–1.5 bar; verify by comparing the P05 value (pressure on display) with the pressure gauge and measuring the sensor signal or testing with a replacement. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
