Water Pressure Sensor Beretta Exclusive MIX 26 Ref. R10028142
When you open the tap or start the heating, the Beretta Exclusive MIX 26 Water Pressure Sensor (Ref. R10028142) measures the pressure of the circuit and sends the information to the control board. If this sensor fails, you may notice incorrect readings, which can lead to lockouts due to false low pressure, generating fault code 42. This component is compatible with several Beretta boilers, such as the Exclusive 24 CAI, Exclusive Mix 26 CSI, and Kompakt 24 CAI, among others. It is advisable to replace it if you observe pressure issues or errors in operation.

How to check if the part R10028142 is the one for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference R10028142. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch R10028142 resolves.
The pressure sensor measures the water pressure for the electronics. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The display always shows the same pressure, it neither rises nor falls even if you refill or bleed water.
Cause: The pressure sensor is stuck and does not send the actual value to the control board.
Compare the reading on the screen with an analog manometer (the one from the bleed valve or the filling key) before changing the sensor.
- 02
The boiler locks out due to low pressure even though you see the circuit full and the physical manometer reads correctly.
Cause: If the sensor sends a false low pressure value, the control board shuts off for safety even if the water is at the right temperature.
Check that the tube or connection that carries the pressure to the sensor is not bent, blocked, or has an air bubble.
- 03
The pump and flame modulation are erratic, as if the boiler doesn't know if there is enough water.
Cause: An unstable pressure signal from the sensor confuses the control board, which adjusts the boiler with incorrect data.
Note if the fault coincides with knocks or vibrations in the piping: it could be a loose connection in the wiring of the sensor and not the part itself.
Fault codes for Beretta that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| 42 | Water pressure transducer fault. | The R10028142 sensor delivers a null/out-of-range signal or does not reach the PCB (internal fault or wiring), so the electronics detect a transducer defect and display 42; check that the mechanical pressure gauge and display reading match and measure the power/signal of the sensor at its connector. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
