The boiler does not ignite and neither the fan nor the burner can be heard trying to start.
Cause: If the pressure switch was already open before giving the command, the control board doesn't even start the ignition sequence.
Check that power is reaching the boiler and that the fan is spinning freely before inspecting the pressure switch.

A ventilation fault code appears as soon as I try to turn it on.
Cause: It is the usual response when the pressure switch does not close the contact that confirms the flue gas extraction.
Check that the flue, being forced draft, is not blocked by nests, ice, or dirt.

The boiler works well in general but has more faults on very windy days.
Cause: In forced draft equipment, the wind at the outlet can alter the pressure that the pressure switch detects and cause it to operate prematurely.
Compare if the faults coincide with days of strong wind before replacing the part.

Upon opening the boiler, the silicone tubes of the pressure switch appear dry or cracked.
Cause: Over the years, those tubes lose flexibility and allow air to enter, causing the pressure switch to stop reading the actual pressure.
Check the condition of the silicone tubes of the pressure switch before declaring it faulty.
