The heating is not heating or heats little, although the burner ignites normally.
Cause: If the pump does not circulate the water, the heat generated does not reach the radiators even though the combustion is functioning well.
Check if the pump vibrates or is hot to the touch: if it does not transmit any water movement, it may be stuck before considering it faulty.

A buzzing or gurgling sound is heard in the pump when the heating starts.
Cause: The buzzing usually indicates that the motor is running but the impeller is partially blocked or there is air in the circuit.
Bleed the pump with the front screw and measure the circuit pressure before replacing it.

Water is leaking from the body or from the shaft of the pump.
Cause: The mechanical seal of the shaft wears out with use and gradually allows water to pass through.
Locate whether the leak comes from the bleed screw (in that case, tighten it) or from the rear shaft, which does require changing the pump.

Cause: If water does not circulate for months, lime and debris can seize the impeller.
With the boiler turned off, try to turn the shaft by hand with a screwdriver through the front slot before replacing the pump.
