Ariston Basic 23 MFFI Safety Valve Ref. 569292
The Ariston BASIC boilers are compatible with the Ariston Basic 23 MFFI safety valve. This valve has the function of releasing water when the circuit pressure exceeds 3 bar, thus protecting the system from overpressure. When it fails, you may notice continuous dripping or that it does not discharge properly when required. It is installed in models such as BASIC 23, BASIC 23 MFFI, among others in the BASIC range and others like CODEX and EDI. It is recommended to replace it if you observe these symptoms to avoid damage to the boiler.

How to check if the reference 569292 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 569292. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the safety valve 569292 resolves.
The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
It continuously drips from the gas valve drain, even after being bled.
Cause: The closing seat does not seal properly and allows water to pass through continuously.
Manually bleed by turning the cap and releasing: if the dripping does not stop when closing, the seat is worn.
- 02
The boiler does not maintain pressure and needs to be refilled frequently.
Cause: A silent leak from the valve seat is draining the circuit.
With the pressure gauge in view, note the cold pressure for a couple of days; if it drops without visible leaks in the radiators, suspect the gas valve.
- 03
The valve activates and releases water without the pressure reaching 3 bar.
Cause: The adjustment spring has lost strength and opens earlier than it should.
Check the pressure gauge to see at what exact pressure water starts to come out; if it is clearly below 3 bar, the setting has failed.
- 04
There is a dry limescale stain under the boiler, next to the drain pipe.
Cause: It is a trace of intermittent bleeds that have dried up without anyone noticing.
Check if the stain reappears wet after a heating cycle; confirm that the leak is still active before purchasing the part.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
