How to check if the ref. I39818270 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference I39818270. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the safety valve I39818270 resolves.
The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Water is continuously dripping from the drain tube, even after the circuit has just been bled.
Cause: The valve does not seal properly because its sealing seat has lost tightness.
Bleed the air from the radiators and measure the pressure when cold: if it is correct and it continues to leak, the gas valve is failing.
- 02
The pressure rises above normal and the gas valve does not open.
Cause: The internal mechanism is jammed with limescale, preventing the spring from pushing the shutter.
With the boiler cold, operate the manual bleed lever to check if the mechanism moves freely.
- 03
The valve trips, releases water, and then continues to drip without fully closing again.
Cause: Lime residues or a particle on the seat prevent the gas valve from sealing again after firing.
After a shot, bleed the valve a couple of times manually: sometimes it drags the particle and regains the seal.
- 04
Water needs to be added to the circuit more frequently than usual, even though no large leak is visible.
Cause: A slow drip from the valve can go down the drain without leaving a visible puddle, causing a loss of pressure.
Place a container under the drain pipe for an entire night to check if it collects water.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
