Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

  1. Check your gas valve: it should be set to 3 bar and have a 1/2" thread. On our unit, you can read "3 bar," "mod 1/2," and "116KW/h."
  2. Look for the code N57G007M2 on your gas valve, in the parts list or in the manual of your boiler. Copy it with the zeros (not with the letter O). Some may add «-C» (it is not confirmed that it is the same).
  3. Do not confuse it with the Orkli 17003-00 (female-female): the N57G007M2 does not appear in the Orkli technical sheet read. Always compare the setting and the type of thread.
  4. Check on the PCB that your boiler is Fagor; for a specific model, check the compatibility (for example, FEB-24 AR).
  5. If they match, call us at 911 17 77 77 with the model of your boiler and we will tell you how to proceed. Any questions? Send us a photo of the label of your spare part from Contact.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and checks

The safety valve releases pressure when the circuit exceeds its setting. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

The safety valve is tripping and expelling water.

Cause: The pressure rises above the set point (3 bar in heating): the expansion vessel has lost gas or has a broken diaphragm, or there is air in the circuit.

Have a technician check it: they will inspect the expansion vessel and the air in the circuit. Do not touch the valve.

  • 02

The pressure indicator is flashing: the pressure rises to 2.7 bar or more.

Cause: Too much water in the installation.

Bleed a radiator to lower the pressure. If the pressure rises again, have a technician check it.

  • 03

The safety valve is constantly dripping and the pressure is rising uncontrollably.

Cause: The valve is worn out or does not close properly.

Have a technician check the gas valve and replace it if it is worn out.

  • 04

Water is leaking from the safety valve drain.

Cause: The circuit pressure rises too much, or the valve is worn and drips even when the pressure is normal.

Check the pressure with the boiler cold. If it is normal and the gas valve continues to drip, have a technician replace it.

Error codes requiring diagnosis

CodeFaultTechnical checks
F3Heating circuit pressure out of range: the boiler locks out. Sometimes it appears as F03.Check the pressure gauge with the boiler cold. If the pressure is low, fill it with the filling key and look for leaks. If the pressure rises too much, check the safety valve or the expansion vessel. Have a technician inspect it.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Commercial application: offers compatible with Fagor N57G007M 2.3 bar, 1/2 male side with quick connection at the bottom, for FE-24E-1, FEB-24AR, and FEB-24AR-1. It does not confirm that the Orkli MOD 1/2 valve is compatible nor does it confirm other series; check setting, connections, and OEM before assigning application.
Before purchasing
  • The setting of 3 bar is the pressure at which the safety valve opens, not the cold filling pressure of the boiler.
  • Fagor FEB-24 AR (Ecomini) — explicit; (list without header); (code -C)

  • Do not confuse: 17003-00 — Orkli valve 17003-00: 1/2" female-female, without pressure gauge. Distributors list it at 3 bar; the Orkli technical sheet shows 3.6 in its row — It is another reference: in the partially read Orkli technical sheet, the N57G007M2 does not appear; it has a lateral male thread, male bayonet, and plug socket.
  • The N57G007M2 as a Fagor and Brandt code (manufacturer) is also listed for a washing machine valve. Not confirmed: Orkli with this code: the reference for this unit is confirmed.
  • and they provide the N57G007M2 with 3 bar. Discrepancies: Brandt lists it for a washing machine, classifies it as Kramer, Not confirmed: Orkli with this code and the connection does not match. Confirmation recorded: Fagor; the part is Orkli.
Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How do I recognize this safety valve N57G007M2?
Due to its setting of 3 bar and its thread of 1/2". In our Orkli unit, it reads "3 bar", "mod 1/2" and "116KW/h", and the reference that confirms it is N57G007M2. Compare that code with the one from the breakdown of your boiler.
Is it suitable for my Fagor boiler?
Yes: Confirmed: for Fagor boilers, although without specifying the model. For the FEB-24 AR, it is listed as compatible and others list it: still to be confirmed. Compare the code N57G007M2 with your parts list or call us at 911 17 77 77.
And for the FE-24E, FEE-24MA, FEB-23E, FA-23E or Contract CE 30E?
the list next to this valve; the list with the code N57G007M2-C; only gives the Fagor family «fe/fee/fa/ce». A single origin connects them with the N57G007M2: to be confirmed. Compare the code in your parts breakdown before ordering it.
Is it the same valve as the 057228 from Saunier Duval?
list N57G007M2 as one of the original codes for its valve 350.66.0005 (Saunier Duval 057228, "FAGOR 3 Bar") for Isofast C 24 EV, Isomax C 28 E or Isotwin F 28 E. It is a single one, so we do not confirm it.
What do N57G007M2, "mod 1/2", 116KW/h, and 108 kW/h mean?
We have not found in the open documents what "mod 1/2" or "116KW/h" mean: these are codes marked on the part. N57G007M2 is the reference that confirms this. 108 kW/h is the capacity indicated; without additional external confirmation, it contrasts this.
Is it the same as the Orkli 17003-00 or the N57G007M2 from the washing machine?
It is not the 17003-00: that is a 1/2" female-female Orkli without a pressure gauge (3 bar according to distributors; 3.6 in the Orkli technical sheet, where the N57G007M2 does not appear). Brandt lists the N57G007M2 as a washing machine overpressure valve: the code alone is not enough, also compare the setting and thread.
Who should install a safety valve?
It is advisable to have it installed by a qualified technician and, after installation, to check that the drainage is clear and that the circuit pressure is correct.
