💡 Direct response
Fagor was a Spanish brand of boilers belonging to the Mondragón Corporation (Basque Country), founded in 1956. After the bankruptcy of Fagor Electrodomésticos in 2013, the production of boilers ceased. However, their FE and FEV forced draught models remain very numerous in the housing stock of Madrid, and many can be repaired with compatible spare parts or existing stock.

Frequently Asked Questions about Fagor Boilers
Yes, in many cases. The FE-24 and FEB-24 models have good availability of spare parts in the distribution market, and many components are equivalent to other brands (SIT gas valves, Honeywell PCBs, Grundfos pumps). However, for very specific models or those prior to 2005, the availability of the original PCB may be limited. We assess before quoting.
If the boiler is more than 15 years old and the fault is severe (PCB, heat exchanger), it is usually more cost-effective to replace it with a new condensing one. The annual gas savings can be 25-30%. For minor faults (pump, NTC, electrode), repair is still cost-effective in most cases.
E1 indicates a ignition fault with safety lockout. The boiler attempted to ignite several times without detecting a flame. Check that the gas is open. The reset is done by turning the boiler off and on or pressing the reset button if it has one. If the error repeats in the first cycles, technical intervention is required.
Yes. All the spare parts we install come with a manufacturer's warranty (3 months to 2 years depending on the part) and our labour warranty. For equivalent parts (non-original), we apply the same performance warranty as for original parts.
