How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.

Symptoms and faults that the extractor resolves

The extractor evacuates the combustion gases with forced draft. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

• 01

  The extractor makes noise or vibrates when it rotates.

  Cause: The impeller may be unbalanced or the bearing worn out due to use.

  Turn the impeller by hand with the boiler unplugged; if you feel rubbing or vibration, the wear is confirmed.

• 02

  The boiler does not ignite or gets locked when trying to start.

  Cause: If there is not enough airflow, the pressure switch does not close and the control board does not allow ignition.

  Check that the flue pipe is not blocked from the outside before considering the extractor as faulty.

• 03

  The impeller is stuck and does not rotate, or it is very difficult to move.

  Cause: Dirt or accumulated rust can block the shaft, especially after a prolonged stop.

  With the boiler turned off, try to turn the impeller by hand; if it is completely blocked, confirm the fault before purchasing the part.

• 04

  The boiler starts the fan but locks out after a few seconds.

  Cause: If the extractor does not reach the necessary revolutions, the flow is insufficient and the safety lock is activated.

  Check if the extractor receives stable power during the ignition attempt before replacing it.
