How to check if ref. 82222 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 82222. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the filling valve 82222 resolves.
The filling valve allows water to refill the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
When opening the valve, the pressure in the heating circuit does not increase.
Cause: The interior is clogged with limescale, which prevents the flow of water.
Check that water from the mains is reaching the boiler before declaring the valve faulty.
- 02
It leaks water from the body or the control even with the valve closed.
Cause: The internal seat no longer seals properly due to wear or limescale buildup.
Locate the exact point of the leak, whether it is in the body, control, or connection thread, before replacing the entire part.
- 03
It's very difficult to turn the plastic knob, or it has become stuck.
Cause: Limescale has accumulated in the internal mechanism due to the period of inactivity.
Try to unlock it with gentle movements in both directions; if it doesn't give way, don't force it any further and replace it.
- 04
The circuit needs to be refilled frequently because the pressure drops on its own.
Cause: The valve does not close properly and allows water to escape continuously, even if in small amounts.
Check if the pressure drop stops when you close the shut-off valve before this part; if so, confirm that the leak is in the valve.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
