  You turn on the hot water tap and the boiler does not ignite, the water comes out cold.

  Cause: The flow detector does not send the water flow signal to the control board, and it does not trigger the ignition for domestic hot water.

  Check that the tap is providing normal flow and that the aerator or inlet filter is not blocked before touching the part.

• 02

  The boiler turns on and off several times in a row while the hot water continues to run.

  Cause: The palette or the micro switch of the detector is intermittently activated due to dirt, and the flow signal comes in and out.

  Open and close the tap a couple of times and check if the ignition takes longer than usual or if it cuts off at regular intervals.

  The boiler works well for heating but fails when requesting domestic hot water.

  Cause: The flow detector only intervenes in the domestic hot water circuit, which is why the fault is limited to that function.

  Confirm that the problem only occurs when opening a tap and not when activating the heating, to narrow down that the involved part is this one.

• 04

  The display shows a fault code related to the flow rate or the flow sensor.

  Cause: The control unit detects an out-of-range signal from the sensor and blocks the start for safety reasons.

  Note the exact code and check in your model's manual if it corresponds to the flow sensor before replacing it.
