The flame appears unstable, yellowish, or goes out by itself a few seconds after being ignited.
Cause: The gas valve does not regulate the gas flow properly, and the air-gas mixture is unbalanced.
Look at the color of the flame through the sight glass and note when it changes; take it noted if you consult with an installer.

The boiler always operates at maximum power, without modulating, even when you request little heat.
Cause: The modulation solenoid of the valve gets stuck in one position and does not adjust the flow.
Check the display to see if the modulation fault matches a specific fault code before replacing the gas valve.

There is a slight smell of gas near the boiler, even if it is weak.
Cause: A gasket or the body of the gas valve is losing tightness and allowing a small amount of gas to escape.
