Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.

  1. Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
  2. Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
  3. Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
  4. If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms and faults that the hydraulic group resolves

The hydraulic group includes the valve, the by-pass, and the water connections. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

  • 01

Water is leaking right at the joint of the black plastic, more at the beginning of the heating cycle.

Cause: The O-ring of that connection has hardened or cracked due to heat and no longer seals properly.

Gently tighten the clamp or fitting of that joint and check if the leak stops before replacing the entire part.

  • 02

There is lime or dry white residue around the fitting, although it is not currently leaking.

Cause: There have been intermittent leaks in the past that have dried up and left limescale marks at the connection.

Clean the area and leave the boiler running for a while to see if humidity reappears before purchasing the part.

  • 03

The pressure in the circuit gradually decreases, and the system needs to be refilled every few weeks.

Cause: A small and constant leak in this connection empties the pressure without a large puddle being noticeable.

Check the entire area with dry paper or a tissue after a couple of hours of operation to locate the exact point of the leak.

  • 04

When moving or handling the tube near the part, it feels loose or wobbly.

Cause: The plastic of the connection has fatigued with the cycles of heat and cold and has lost firmness in the fitting.

Check that the clamps are properly tightened before assuming that the part is damaged.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
