How to check if the reference 20120113 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference 20120113. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the hydraulic group 20120113 resolves.
The hydraulic group includes the valve, the by-pass, and the water connections. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Domestic hot water is coming out irregularly: sometimes cold, other times almost boiling, without staying stable at the tap.
Cause: The hydraulic assembly regulates the flow of water and the mixture; if it fails, the control board does not adjust the power properly to the domestic hot water.
First, check the flow by opening the tap fully: if it comes out with low pressure, it could be the aerator or a dirty filter, not the hydraulic assembly.
- 02
There is a drip or puddle of water under the boiler, near the bottom of the body.
Cause: The gaskets and fittings of the hydraulic assembly seal the passage between the heating circuit and the domestic hot water circuit; over time, they can dry out or crack.
Dry the area well and check again after a while of operation to locate the exact point of the leak before considering the replacement part satisfactory.
- 03
The boiler does not ignite when you open the hot water tap, although it heats the heating system without any problem.
Cause: The hydraulic set detects the demand for water and notifies the control board to start the burner in domestic hot water mode.
Check that the open tap provides sufficient flow and that there is no blocked inlet filter before replacing the part.
- 04
A whistling, vibrating, or banging noise is heard when the hot water is turned on.
Cause: An internal step of the hydraulic assembly that is partially obstructed or calcified causes turbulence in the water flow.
Check the network pressure and see if the noise changes when slowly opening the tap; this helps to differentiate between a pressure issue and a problem with the component itself.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
