Cause: The flexible hose has lost flexibility or the fitting is not sealing properly and is slowly leaking water.
Dry the area thoroughly and check again after the boiler has been running for a while to locate the exact point of the leak before replacing the flexible hose.

The material of the tube appears cracked, soft, or brittle to the touch.
Cause: Heat and age harden corrugated plastic until it loses elasticity and cracks.
Gently bend the flexible hose at a less visible point to check if it gives or cracks.

The boiler loses pressure over time even though no water is visible.
Cause: A hydraulic connection that doesn't seal completely can leak so slightly that it evaporates without leaving a trace.
Check the pressure gauge after refilling and check again the next day to see if the pressure drops without visible leaks.

Rust or limescale buildup is noticeable around a fitting.
Cause: A small, constant drip leaves a mineral trace even if the water doesn't accumulate.
Clean the area and carefully tighten the fitting before assuming the flexible hose is broken.
