How to check if it is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference —. If it is not visible, do not identify the part by its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the hydraulic group resolves
The hydraulic group includes the valve, the by-pass, and the water connections. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Water or a damp ring appears right in the area where this fitting is located, especially when the boiler has been on for a while.
Cause: Plastic expands with heat, and if it is already cracked, that is when the leak is most noticeable.
With the boiler cold, dry the area well, turn it on, and observe if the leak appears when heating: that points directly to the fitting.
- 02
The fitting is cracked or the thread appears to be damaged at first glance.
Cause: Plastic loses flexibility over the years, and excessive tightening during a previous maintenance can cause it to crack.
Check it with a flashlight for fine cracks in the base and the thread before replacing it.
- 03
It only drips occasionally, not constantly.
Cause: A dry or displaced internal gasket seals worse when the circuit pressure increases.
Check the pressure gauge of the boiler: if the dripping increases with high pressure, the suspect is this fitting.
- 04
You have tightened the fitting and it is still leaking water.
Cause: If the crack already exists, tightening does not seal anything and may end up breaking the part completely.
Don't keep pressing: if you've already tried and the leak persists, it's time to replace it, not to force it any further.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Data read on the part and in the manufacturer's documentation
What we have not been able to verify does not appear here.
- Molded code on the part
- 8716771001/1
- The reference published by the store (87167713820) was incorrect; the correct one is 87167713850.
- The part does not have any visible manufacturer's logo, only a mold number; the Bosch Thermotechnology origin is determined by technical assessment, not by direct marking on the part.
