How to check if it is the part for your boiler

The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

  1. Check the Nordgas logo on the circuit.
  2. Compare the reference. The reference is 6SCHEMOD35; the 6SCHEMOD50 is the subsequent code. If yours is a 6SCHEMOD50, please consult us before ordering it.
  3. Look at the model on the boiler's rating plate: Minorca KC24, KR or KRB, Nibir KC, KR or KRB.
  4. Discard other PCBs: it is not the 6CIRCSTA21 (Minorca-Nibir interconnection) nor the 6SCHEMOD19 from another series of boilers.
  5. Compare the fuse: the PCB has 3.15 A F. If you have doubts about your model, call us at 911 17 77 77 with the complete model of your boiler.

Symptoms that require diagnosis on the PCB

The PCB controls the ignition, modulation, and safety features of the boiler. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

  • 01

    The burner does not ignite and the boiler shows E01.

    Cause: In the Minorca and Nibir KC-KR-KRB, the indicated cause for E01 is the faulty PCB.

    The replacement is carried out by qualified personnel. E01 does not identify the reference of the PCB: please consult us before ordering it.

  • 02

    The burner ignites for a few seconds and then turns off.

    Cause: In the Minorca KC-KR-KRB, the board does not detect the flame because the phase and neutral are inverted. The cause lies in the electrical connection, not in the PCB.

    Check that the phase-neutral connection to the electrical network is correct. If it was reversed, correct it before considering changing the PCB.

E01 indicates that the burner does not ignite. The indicated cause is a faulty PCB. E01 does not identify the reference of the board, so it is not enough to decide on the replacement. Confirm the marking on yours before ordering.
Can it be confused with other PCBs from Fondital?
Yes. The 6CIRCSTA21 is the interconnection PCB for the Minorca and Nibir, not the modulation one. The 6SCHEMOD19 is the modulation PCB for another series of Fondital boilers.
