Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler is completely off: no lights, no display, and no attempt to start.
Cause: The PCB distributes power to the other components of the boiler; if it fails, everything becomes unresponsive.
Check that 230V is reaching the input of the PCB and that the internal fuse is not blown.

A different fault code appears with each attempt to start, without repeating.
Cause: The control electronics manage the ignition and safety; if it fails, it generates inconsistent warnings.
Note each code before changing the PCB: in the SDHV series, several point to the flame sensor or the pressure switch, not to the control board.

The boiler pump does not start even though the thermostat requests heating.
Cause: The PCB sends the electrical signal to the pump; if the driver for that output fails, the pump does not receive power.
Before changing the PCB, measure with a multimeter if there is voltage at the pump connector when there is demand.

The pump never stops, even when the boiler is idle.
Cause: A stuck relay on the PCB keeps the pump output continuously activated.
Disconnect the connector of the pump with the boiler at rest: if there is still voltage at that point, the relay on the PCB is stuck.
