Common symptoms and faults

The boiler does not ignite and there are no active indicator lights.
Cause: The PCB manages the overall power supply of the equipment; if the input fails, no current reaches any circuit.
Check the fuse on the PCB and the 5x20 mm fuse holder that it has integrated; it is usually the first thing to burn out if there is a voltage spike.

It skips a fault code or a fault indicator as soon as you try to turn it on.
Cause: The PCB interrupts the process when it detects an anomaly in flame, pressure, or temperature to protect the boiler.
Check the pressure of the circuit and ensure that the flue is not blocked before attributing it to the PCB.

The room thermostat is unable to start the boiler even though it is calling for heat.
Cause: The mains coil and the input stage of the PCB filter the power supply; if they fail, the board does not process the thermostat demand.
Check the wiring of the thermostat on the terminal block of the PCB before replacing it.

The boiler stops by itself during operation, without prior warning.
Cause: A specific fault in the electronics can interrupt the ignition or the gas supply even if the other components are functioning properly.
Note if it always occurs at the same point in the cycle before changing the PCB.
