- Look at the PCB: it should have the circuit code 0438702 and the label "46372 TR/TR 100994S". The model of the PCB is GU/GG-EK.
- Compare the reference Wolf: 2799110, or the current one 8601911 (the official list states that it replaces 2799110).
- Do not confuse it with the ignition control board (8601907 in GU-EK, 8601909 in GG-EK) or with the "Regelung komplett" assembly (8600077, 8600078).
- Check on the rating plate that your boiler is a Wolf CG-EK-18, GG-EK-18, GG-EK-24, or GU-EK-18/24.

The boiler does not respect the 3-minute lockout between ignitions (Taktsperre).
Cause: In a 2021 thread, a user of a GU EK 18 mentions that the control board failed (already replaced) and that the Taktsperre was "out of service." A 2022 message describes ignitions every 1 to 2.5 minutes, without mentioning the control board. These are testimonies: have a technician check it.
