  The hot water comes out with a temperature that fluctuates for no reason, and sometimes it cuts off.

  Cause: The plates of the heat exchanger accumulate scale on the inside, and the water flow becomes irregular as it passes through them.

  Check the domestic hot water flow with the tap fully open; if it has decreased compared to before, an internal blockage is more likely than an electronic fault.

  Water is leaking from the quick coupling fitting that connects the heat exchanger, although the rest of the boiler is dry.

  Cause: The gasket of that quick coupling connector is a wear part independent of the PCBs and may fail before them.

  Before replacing the entire heat exchanger, check if you only need to replace the gasket of the fitting: tighten carefully and see if the leak stops.

  There are visible leaks right in the area where the heat exchanger is mounted, with drops appearing shortly after the boiler is turned on.

  Cause: The body of plates or their joints give way with the cycles of heat and cold and begin to lose tightness.

  Mark the area with absorbent paper around the part and start a domestic hot water cycle to locate the exact point of the leak before disassembling anything.

  There is no domestic hot water even though the boiler ignites and heats the heating system properly.

  Cause: If the heat exchanger is heavily clogged with scale, it can nearly block the entire water flow of the secondary circuit.

  Check if the problem occurs only in domestic hot water and not in heating; if so, the PCB can be ruled out and it points directly to the heat exchanger or the flow sensor.
