  Check if, despite the broken glass, the needle moves normally when bleeding or filling the circuit: if the mechanism responds well, the problem is only with the glass.

  The needle moves, but it shows a pressure that does not match what another manometer indicates or with the feel of the installation.

  Cause: The mechanism may have lost accuracy with use, especially if the circuit has experienced pressure shocks or repeated drainings.

  Before changing it, bleed the air from the circuit and check the cold pressure: a low reading after bleeding is usually a lack of water, not a faulty pressure gauge.
