  The boiler tries to ignite, heats up a bit, and then shuts down with an overtemperature warning.

  Cause: The capillary aquastat detects an incorrect temperature because the capillary is bent, crushed, or has lost fluid.

  Check the copper capillary path for bends or crushes before replacing the entire part.

• 02

  The pressure gauge does not move, neither when filling nor when bleeding water from the circuit.

  Cause: The Bourdon tube that translates pressure into needle movement is blocked by scale or by a shock.

  Slowly load the circuit while watching the needle; if it does not react, the pressure gauge is faulty.

• 03

  The pressure gradually drops over days without any visible leaks in the boiler or radiators.

  Cause: There may be an internal leak in the fitting area of this part, difficult to see because the water evaporates when heated.

  Dry the area around the fitting well, place some kitchen paper, and check the next day to see if it has become damp again.

• 04

  The boiler pump does not start when it should, although the rest of the boiler operates normally.

  Cause: The aquastat contact that gives the start command does not close because it is worn out or miscalibrated.

  Manually force the pump to start from the boiler's service menu, if allowed, to rule out that it is another component.
