Beretta Kompakt 24 CSI Air Pressure Switch - Ref. R01005272
The air pressure switch Beretta Kompakt 24 CSI monitors the air pressure in the boiler and allows it to operate. When it fails, the boiler may not start or may lock out, even if the pressure is adequate. Users may notice this issue if fault codes A03, 30, or 31 appear. This pressure switch is compatible with several models, including the Kompakt 24 CSI, Super Kompakt 24 CSI, Super Kompakt 24 RSI, Ciao 24 CSI, Mynute 24 CSI, and Super Exclusive 24 CSI, among others. It is recommended to replace it upon identifying faults in the starting or operation of the boiler.

How to check if ref. R01005272 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference R01005272. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch R01005272 resolves.
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler ignites, makes an attempt, and shuts off after a few seconds.
Cause: The pressure switch detects a drop in pressure as soon as the burner starts, and the control board cuts off the gas for safety.
Check that the flue duct is not partially obstructed; a slight restriction is only noticeable with the burner already at full operation.
- 02
The display shows a fault with the extractor or pressure switch, although the fan sounds normal.
Cause: The pressure switch is the one that validates to the control board that the fan generates sufficient pressure; if it does not switch, the warning still appears.
With the boiler off, disconnect the silicone tubes and gently blow to rule out any blockages.
- 03
The blockage always occurs on the first attempt of the day, when cold.
Cause: The pressure differential required for the pressure switch to activate may not be reached if the component is at the end of its useful life.
Note whether the fault occurs consistently on the first start or if it is random; this helps to distinguish between a pressure switch issue and a flue problem.
- 04
The extractor and the heat exchanger have already been cleaned, and the lockout still appears on startup.
Cause: Having ruled out the mechanical cause of the draft, what remains to be checked is that the pressure switch reliably closes the contact.
Check with a multimeter that the pressure switch closes the contact when the switching pressure is exceeded before replacing it.
Fault codes for Beretta that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| A03 | Intervention of the air pressure switch (C.S.I.). | The air pressure switch does not switch (contact out of sequence) during the fan start-up. Check the continuity of the microswitch and that it changes state by applying vacuum/overpressure (U-gauge or blowing) and inspecting silicone tubes and power supply to the fan. |
| 30 | FLUE OUTLET OR AIR PRESSURE SWITCH (C.S.I.) (D). | Definitive fault in the flue/air circuit due to the air pressure switch not closing/opening as it should. Check with a multimeter the NO/NC switching when the fan starts, differential pressure, and the condition of the tubes connected to the pressure switch. |
| 31 | FLUE OUTLET OR AIR PRESSURE SWITCH (C.S.I.) (T). | Temporary shutdown of the flue/air circuit due to a pressure switch that does not switch; if it persists, it leads to 30. Check the switching of the pressure switch under vacuum and electrical continuity, as well as connections and hoses. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
