Huba Control Air Pressure Switch 401.99002 - Beretta Exclusive Mix 26
Huba Control air differential pressure switch, ref. 401.99002, manufactured in Wurenlos (Switzerland). It measures the differential pressure generated by the fan and provides an analog output signal (0.3-4.3V) that the boiler uses to confirm the draft before igniting the burner. It is replaced when the boiler locks out without igniting or shows a pressure switch or fan fault.

How to check if ref. R2677 is the part for your boiler
What determines it is not the boiler model, but the reference printed on the part you already have installed.
- Find the reference printed on the installed part and check whether it matches the catalogue reference R2677. If it is not visible, do not identify the part from its shape alone.
- Check the full boiler model on its data plate and look for it in the model associations on this page.
- Compare the connections and physical body with the original part before installation.
- If anything is unclear, send us a photo of the marking via WhatsApp before placing your order.
Symptoms and faults that the pressure switch R2677 resolves.
The pressure switch controls the air or water pressure to authorize operation. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The boiler does not ignite and the display shows a fault related to the pressure switch or the fan.
Cause: This pressure switch sends a signal proportional to the fan pressure; if that signal is out of range, the control unit understands that there is insufficient draft and blocks the ignition.
Make sure the fan spins freely and at normal speed before replacing the pressure switch; a weak fan can also generate the same fault signal.
- 02
The fan starts and sounds normal, but the boiler locks out without igniting.
Cause: If the differential pressure switch does not confirm the air pressure within the expected range, the control board does not authorize the opening of the gas valve.
Check that the pressure intake pipes are properly connected, without leaks or kinks, before replacing the component.
- 03
The burner ignites and turns off several times in a row for no apparent reason before stabilizing or locking out.
Cause: An unstable pressure signal from the pressure switch causes the control board to lose and regain flue confirmation during the ignition cycle.
Check for any accumulated condensation in the siphon or in the silicone tubes; it is a common cause of erratic signals.
- 04
The boiler shows a fan error even though the extractor seems to be working well at first glance.
Cause: The control board does not measure the fan directly; it relies on the signal sent by the pressure switch. A faulty pressure switch can simulate a fan fault that does not exist.
Before changing the fan, disconnect the pressure switch and check if the fault code changes.
Fault codes for Beretta that this part resolves.
| Code | Fault | Diagnosis and solution |
|---|---|---|
| 30 | Flue gas outlet or air pressure switch (cycle start; lockout). | The air pressure switch (Huba R2677) does not switch when the fan starts due to lack of pressure or internal fault; check contact continuity during start-up and pressure at its ports with a manometer, as well as inspect the tubes to the venturi. |
| 31 | Flue gas outlet or air pressure switch (in cycle; transient anomaly). | During operation, the air pressure switch opens/closes unstably due to insufficient pressure or wear of the pressure switch itself; check with a multimeter for intermittent switching and measure the vacuum while the fan modulates, as well as inspect tubes and fittings. |
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
