How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Locate the label of your pump.
- Check that it says Grundfos UPS015-60 MP IWC and the P/N 59906223.
- Compare the figures: 230 V, 50 Hz, 2.5 µF capacitor and three speeds of 60, 75, and 85 W (0.28, 0.33, and 0.36 A). If your pump gives different figures, it is not the same.
- Compare the hydraulic body and the water connections with the product photos.
- Note the brand and model of your boiler: they are on its rating plate.
- Send us a photo of your pump's label and another of the boiler's PCB from the Contact section, and we will confirm if it is yours before you purchase. You can also call 911 17 77 77.
Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The radiators are cold even though the boiler is turning on.
Bleed the radiators and check that the pump is running.
- 02
The pump hums but does not rotate.
Cause: The rotor may be stuck after the summer.
Consult us before changing the pump.
- 03
Noise or vibration when starting.
Cause: There may be air or low pressure in the circuit.
Check the pressure gauge of the boiler and bleed the circuit.
- 04
There is a water leak in the pump.
Cause: Water can leak from the shaft or from a gasket.
Locate where the water is coming from before replacing the pump.
- 05
The boiler locks out due to lack of circulation.
Check that the pump starts and that there is no air in the circuit.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
