How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Locate the circulation pump of your boiler and read the type printed on the body: it should say TH0050.
- Also look for the identification ES2PK/53-9A-C STEP2 and, if you find it, the code 480080047800.
- Compare the Ariston code: 65116908-03. If yours has 65116908-01 or 65116908-02, this is its replacement.
- Do not confuse it with the Wilo 65104319 or the ENER+ 60001947: they are different pumps. If yours is one of them, please consult us before ordering.
- Have it installed by a qualified technician.
Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
Cold radiators or no heating circulation
Cause: The pump does not move the water through the circuit.
With the boiler requesting heating, check if the pump starts and if the water reaches the radiators. If it doesn't start, it's the part to check. Have a technician do it.
- 02
Buzzing, scratching noise or vibrations in the pump
Cause: Fault or blockage of the pump.
Locate if the noise comes from the body of the pump and if it appears when starting the heating. If so, have a technician check the pump.
- 03
Overheating, frequent lockouts or shutdowns of the boiler
Cause: The pump fails or gets blocked and the water stops circulating.
Note the code displayed by the boiler and if the blockage repeats when requesting heating. A technician must check that the pump is running and moving the water.
These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.
