Guide

How to check if it is the part for your boiler

The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.

Check the label on your pump motor: it should say Grundfos UPS015-50 A0/BX and P/N 59925514.
Compare the consumption of the label: 0.22 A / 50 W at speed II and 0.28 A / 60 W at speed III, with a capacitor of 2.5 µF and 230 V~ 50 Hz.
Measure the connection of your pump. Ours uses a 3/4 brass fitting.
If your boiler originally comes with a different circulator, compare the model and the P/N on its label with those of this pump before purchasing.
If you have any questions, send us a photo of the label of your pump and the PCB of your boiler from the Contact section.

Diagnosis and fault codes

Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump

The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:

Common symptoms and faults

01
The radiators are not heating or are heating little.
Cause: The pump is not circulating the water properly in the heating circuit.
Check that the pump is running when you request heating and that the circuit pressure is normal.
02
The pump hums, but it doesn't rotate.
Cause: Rotor seized due to limescale or having been idle for a long time.
Have it checked by a qualified technician.
03
Does it make noise or vibrate while operating?
Cause: Air in the circuit or wear of the pump.
Bleed the system. If the noise persists, check the pump.
04
It is leaking water from the pump.
Cause: Joint or fitting in poor condition, or fault in the body or motor.
Check joints and fittings. If the leak comes from the body or the motor, the pump needs to be replaced.
05
The boiler overheats and locks out.
Cause: Without circulation, the water overheats and the boiler stops for safety.
Check that the pump starts when the boiler requests heating.

These symptoms can have more than one cause. If your boiler displays a fault code, send it to us via WhatsApp along with a photo of the labeling, and we'll tell you if this is the part.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently asked questions about the circulation pump

Is it compatible with my Novanox 24/24F or my Platinum 24/24F?

Yes. This pump, Grundfos UPS015-50 A0/BX with P/N 59925514, is compatible with the Baxi Roca Novanox 24/24F and Platinum 24/24F. For another boiler, please send us a photo of your boiler's control board and your pump's label from the Contact section, or call us at 911 17 77 77.

What is the Baxi Roca code for this pump?

We identify it by the P/N from Grundfos, 59925514, and by the model UPS015-50 A0/BX. For the Novanox 24/24F, the Baxi code 125568728 corresponds to a pump UP 15-50 AO 2V. We cannot guarantee that it is for this part, so always compare the P/N on your label.

Does any Grundfos UPS 15-50 work?

Not necessarily. There are variants with different P/N, such as 59525600 or 59945537, and we do not consider them equivalent. Compare the P/N on your label before purchasing.

How many speeds does it have?

The label shows power consumption for speeds II and III: 50 W (0.22 A) and 60 W (0.28 A). We do not indicate the total number of speeds: check it on your pump and, if you have any doubts, send us a photo from Contact.

What connection does it have?

It has a 3/4 brass fitting. Measure the connection of your pump before purchasing, and if in doubt, send us a photo from Contact.

Is it the same pump that originally comes with the Platinum 24/24F?

No. The Platinum 24/24F GN originally comes with a Baxi UPMO 15-60 circulator, code 7801354, and not a UPS 15-50. It is a different model and a different code, and we do not consider it equivalent. This UPS015-50 A0/BX is compatible with the Platinum 24/24F. If your boiler has a UPMO, please send us a photo of the label via Contact or call us at 911 17 77 77.

Is it sold tested and with a warranty?

Yes. It is a refurbished part, tested and with a 1-year warranty. The installation must be carried out by a qualified technician.
