How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Read the label on your pump motor: it should say Grundfos, Type UPS15-50 AO-AC-BC and P/N 59945537.
- Compare the three speeds on the label: 40 W (0.18 A), 60 W (0.28 A), and 75 W (0.33 A). If your pump has different values, it is another variant.
- Check the rest of the label data: 230 V, 50 Hz, 2 µF, IP44, class H, TF95, and maximum 0.3 MPa.
- Check the exact model of your boiler on its label and compare it with the list of compatible boilers: Ciao S 24 C.S.I., Ciao S 24 R.S.I. or Berta Silver MOD VGR.
- Compare the body shape, connections, and distance between ports with those of your pump before ordering it.

Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The radiators remain cold or lukewarm.
Cause: The pump is not moving water normally or there is air in the circuit.
Check that the pump is running and that the circuit has pressure. Bleed the radiators.
- 02
Noise, buzzing, or vibrations in the pump.
Cause: It is usually air in the circuit. If it persists, there may be internal wear of the pump.
Bleed the circuit and try another speed. If the noise persists, have a technician check it.
- 03
The pump does not start after the summer or after a period of inactivity.
Cause: The rotor may be seized due to scale or sludge.
Have a technician check it before forcing the shaft.
- 04
There is water under the pump.
Cause: A gasket of the connections in poor condition or a leak in the body of the pump.
Check the seals of the connections. If the leak is coming from the body of the pump, it needs to be replaced.
- 05
The boiler shuts down due to overheating.
Cause: There may be a lack of water circulation due to the pump.
Check the pump before replacing other parts.
