How to check if it is the part for your boiler
The part reference, model, and equipment revision must be verified against the manufacturer's documentation.
- Look for the white label on the pump, on the side of the motor with the Grundfos logo. It should display the reference 3.025719 and the Grundfos PN 98808840.
- Read the designation printed on the motor: Grundfos UPM3 AUTO L 15-70 ICHS. It should not have "130".
- Check that it says AUTO and that the body is made of plastic. There are PWM versions, which the boiler controls with a signal, and versions with a cast iron body: these are different parts.
- If your boiler is a Victrix TT 24, a Victrix Tera, or a Victrix EXA 28 1 ErP, this pump is compatible. Also, compare the label of yours with this one.
- If your pump has a different code (1.035968, 1.038161, 3.025935 or 98825373) or your boiler is of another model, call 911 17 77 77 or contact us from Contact with a photo of the pump label and the boiler PCB.
Symptoms that require diagnosis in the circulation pump
The circulation pump circulates the water in the heating circuit. These are the typical symptoms and what to do:
Common symptoms and faults
- 01
The radiators do not heat up even though the boiler turns on.
Cause: Air in the circuit or pump that won't start.
Bleed the air from the circuit and check that the pump starts.
- 02
The pump does not start after being idle for a while.
Cause: Stuck rotor.
Have a technician check it before replacing it.
- 03
Noise or vibration in the pump area.
Cause: Air or low pressure in the circuit.
Check the manometer and bleed the circuit.
- 04
It is leaking between the motor and the body.
Cause: Leak in the pump itself or in a nearby nut or joint.
Check if the water is coming from the pump or from a nearby nut or gasket.
- 05
The boiler locks out due to lack of circulation.
Cause: The pump is not spinning or there is air in the circuit.
Check that the pump is rotating and that there is no air in the circuit.
